Edison, N.J. - The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference has announced a marketing partnership with Army Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC).
Army ROTC is a college elective program for undergraduate and graduate students that equips young people with the leadership skills, management training and resilience to help them overcome and succeed in any career field. Available at over 1,000 colleges and universities nationwide, it offers merit-based scholarships that can pay up to the full cost of college tuition and fees and provides unrivalled career opportunities after graduation.
"The MAAC is proud and honored to be associated with the Army ROTC as a league sponsor," notes Rich Ensor, Commissioner of the MAAC. "The MAAC and Army ROTC both have an educational mission to educate tomorrow's leaders, making this sponsorship a natural fit for each organization."
As part of their agreement with the MAAC, Army ROTC will host an educational display for the general public to visit during the 2012 MAAC Women's Soccer Championship and the 2012 MAAC Volleyball Championship as well as the opening day of men's and women's basketball on Nov. 9.
