MAAC Announces 2012 Women's Cross Country All-Academic Team

Lake Buena Vista, Fla. - A total of 67 athletes comprise the 2012 MAAC Women's Cross Country All-Academic Team, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced today.

To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale. Marist College led all schools with 13 student athletes. Iona College added nine to the team, while Rider University had eight. Loyola University Maryland had seven student-athletes. Fairfield University, Niagara University and Siena College all had six athletes named to the team, while Saint Peter's University added five representatives. Manhattan College had four named to the team, while Canisius College rounded out the team with three representatives.
