MAAC Announces 2012 Men's Cross Country All-Academic Team

Lake Buena Vista, Fla. - A total of 68 athletes comprise the 2012 MAAC Men's Cross Country All-Academic Team, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced today.

To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale. Marist College led all schools with 15 student athletes. Iona College added 11 to the team, while Rider University had 10. Canisius College, Fairfield University and Niagara University all had six student-athletes. Manhattan College and Siena College both had five athletes named to the team, while Saint Peter's University had three student-athletes. Loyola University Maryland rounded out the team with one representative.
