MAAC Announces 2012 Women's Soccer All-Academic Team
MAAC Sports
Poughkeepsie, N.Y. - A total of 102 athletes
comprise the 2012 MAAC Women's Soccer All-Academic Team, the Metro Atlantic
Athletic Conference announced today.
To be eligible for the MAAC
All-Academic Team, a student athlete must complete two semesters at their
institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0
scale. Iona
College and Rider University both led all schools with 14 members each named to
the team. Siena College had 12 athletes named to the team, while Fairfield
University had 11 athletes. Canisius College, Loyola University Maryland and Marist
College each had 10 representatives. Manhattan College, Niagara University and Saint Peter's
University each rounded out the team
with seven athletes.
