Honomichl and Akana Named ECAC Volleyball All-Stars

CENTERVILLE, Mass. - Niagara's Sr. outside hitter Kari Honomichl and Siena's Jr. outside hitter Taylor Akana were named Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Volleyball All-Stars announced on Wednesday.
Honomichl, who was the 2012 MAAC Player of the Year, led the league with 4.30 points per set and was second in the conference with 3.74 kills per set.She was also named to the 2012 All-MAAC Tournament team.
Akana was a member of the All-MAAC First team and she ranked second in the league with 257 total kills and third in the MAAC with 3.72 kills per set.
