Lovro Bilonic - Saint Peter's University
Men's Swimming & Diving, Gr., 5-10, 180, Split, Croatia
Peacock Lovro Bilonic lead the Saint Peter's swimming and diving team to a sweep over MAAC rival Manhattan College and Montclair State in the squad's final meet of the 2012 calendar year on December 7th. Bilonic finished first in the 200 Yard IM with a time of 1:56.04 and also captured a first place finish in the 100 Yard Backstroke (53.22). Additionally, he was a member of the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay team that came in first at 1:28.16. A graduate student pursuing a Master's in Business Administration, Bilonic boasts a 3.9 GPA.
Alyssa Sutherland - Loyola University Maryland
Women's Basketball, Sr., F, 6-1, Syracuse, N.Y./West Genesee
Sutherland holds a 3.737 grade point average, while also leading the Student Athletic Activities Committee and playing an integral role on the women's basketball team. Last week, the Syracuse, N.Y. native helped the Greyhounds to a, 53-47, victory over the Army Black Knights. Sutherland posted 11 points, grabbing five boards and three steals. The Greyhound victory was the second-consecutive game the forward recorded three steals. Two days prior in a homecoming performance, Sutherland recorded three steals, four assists, and seven points against the Syracuse Orange. For the season, Sutherland has played 337 minutes, while averaging 7.5 points per game. The senior ranks second on the team in free-throws-made averaging 80 percent from the charity stripe.
