O.D. Anosike - Siena College
Men's Basketball, Sr., F, 6-8, 241, Staten Island, N.Y./St. Peter's Boys
O.D. Anosike has carried the momentum from his historic junior season into his senior campaign at Siena. The Preseason First Team All-MAAC selection is one of candidates for the Senior CLASS Award. He led the nation in rebounding and ranked second in double-doubles last season. Anosike was a Lou Henson All American as a junior, and a MAAC First Team selection. Through the Saints first 11 games in 2012-13, Anosike averaged 13 points and a MAAC-best 13 rebounds per game. The 13 rebounds ranked second nationally, and his nine double-doubles were the most in the nation. Anosike holds a 3.27 GPA in economics.
Maggie Blair - Manhattan College
Women's Basketball, Sr., G/F, 5-11, Briarcliff, N.Y./Briarcliff
Blair has been a vital member of the Jaspers' success during her career, helping the team make back-to-back appearances in the semifinals of the Women's Basketball Invitational (WBI) in 2011 and 2012. She averaged 5.2 points per game as a sophomore in 2010-11, as Manhattan won a school-record 24 games. Blair then appeared in all 34 contests last season and finished third on the squad with 1.9 assists per game. Through 10 games this season, including six starts, Blair is averaging 4.4 points and 3.4 rebounds per contest. She had a career-high eight rebounds in Manhattan's 58-49 win over Ohio on Dec. 19.
A two-time MAAC All-Academic Team honoree and the secretary of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), she's a member both Epsilon Sigma Pi and the Manhattan College Pen and Sword Honor Society. Blair was also one of three seniors selected to represent the College by speaking at Open House in October. In addition, she's featured in the video "A Day in the Life" at The MAAC Experience, the conference's permanent exhibit at the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
She was one of 22 basketball student-athletes (11 men, 11 women) selected to the 2012 Division I-AAA Athletic Directors Association Scholar Athlete Team. A dual major in management and marketing, Blair will graduate from Manhattan in May before beginning a full-time position as an analyst at Black Rock.
