Chambers led the Broncs to a 2-1 week as Rider (3-4) won at Lafayette and Brown and advanced to the championship game of the Brown Classic before losing to undefeated Quinnipiac (6-0)...Chambers averaged 20.7 points and 5.7 rebounds per game while logging 30 minutes per contest...Chambers shot 53.2 percent from the field...at Lafayette, Chambers had a career-high 24 points in a 68-64 win and at Brown, she recorded 23 points in a 57-47 victory over the host Bears...Chambers recorded 15 points against Quinnipiac which is ranked 22nd in the current CollegeInsider.com mid-major poll and was named to the all-tournament team.
Joy Adams, Freshman, F 5-11Orlando, FL / Evans
Freshman forward averaged 17.5 points, connecting on 59.3% of her attempts, to go along with 7.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game averages in two games for the Gaels. Against Providence, Adams went 6-for-10 from the field, finishing with 14 points and six rebounds in the contest. Against Wagner, Adams had a game high 21 points on 10-for-17 shooting from the field. She finished with nine rebounds, one shy of picking up her second double-double of the season.
