MAAC Announce 2012 Golf All-Academic Teams

Lake Buena Vista, Fla. - A total of 39 athletes comprise the 2012 MAAC Men's and Women's Golf All-Academic Teams, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced today.
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale. Niagara University led all schools with six student-athletes named to the teams. The squads also include five athletes from both Saint Peter's College and Siena College, along with four from both the University of Hartford and Manhattan College. The University at Albany, Canisius College, Iona College and Loyola University Maryland all had three members each named to the teams. Fairfield University had two members, while Rider University rounded out the teams with one student-athlete.
