MAAC Announces 2012 Men's Lacrosse All-Academic Team

Poughkeepsie, N.Y. - A total of 52
student-athletes make up the 2012 MAAC Men's Lacrosse All-Academic Team, the
Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced today.
To
be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student athlete must complete two
semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of
3.20 on a 4.0 scale. The University of
Detroit Mercy led all schools with 15 student-athletes making the team. Canisius College had 10 athletes. Six student-athletes earned spots on the team
from Jacksonville University and Manhattan College. Marist College, Siena College and the
Virginia Military Institute each claimed five spots apiece on the team.
