Men's Soccer Non-Conference Slate Begins Friday

Edison, N.J. - The 2012 men's soccer season begins Friday, Aug. 23 with seven MAAC schools in action.
Niagara University gets the weekend started with a 5:30 p.m. contest against Pittsburgh. Siena College begins play in the Mike Gibbs Memorial Tournament in Jacksonville with a game versus North Florida.
Saint Peter's University makes the short trip to Seton Hall, while Iona College visits Adelphi. Canisius College will meet crosstown rival Buffalo, Marist College hosts UC Riverside, and Manhattan will take on Villanova.
Loyola University Maryland is the lone school in action on Saturday as the Greyhounds travel to Loretto, Pa. to face St. Francis (Pa.).
Four more contests are on tap for Sunday as Siena, Iona, Niagara, and Canisius are in action.
The 2012 MAAC Men's Soccer Championship will be held Nov. 8 & 10 at Loyola's Ridley Athletic Complex. Tickets are available now.
