MAAC Offensive Player of the Week
Amanda Schoenfeld, Monmouth
Junior, Forward, 4-11, West Sayville, N.Y./Connetquot

Schoenfeld ran her goal streak to three games with a pair of goals in a weekend that saw the Monmouth field hockey team split with Fairfield and Delaware.  The junior scored the Hawks’ lone goal in a setback at future MAAC opponent, Fairfield, before registering her first game-winning goal of the year against the previously nationally ranked Blue Hens.  Schoenfeld has a share of the team lead in both points (9) and goals (4).

MAAC Defensive Player of the Week
Alex Carroll, Monmouth
Senior, Defender, 5-3, Oceanport, N.J./Shore Regional

Alex Carroll helped guide Monmouth to hand previously ranked Delaware a 2-1 defeat on Sunday afternoon.  The senior defender registered a defensive save, her second of the season, in the opening half to keep the Blue Hens off the board.  Later in the stanza, the local product assisted on the Hawks’ first goal of the afternoon.  Carroll is one of three Hawks with a pair of defensive saves, while also sharing the team lead with nine points on the strength of three goals and three assists.

MAAC Rookie of the Week
Chloe McIlwaine, Robert Morris
Freshman, F, 5'6", Belfast, Ireland / Northumbria University

McIlwaine had the best weekend of her young career, tallying four goals in wins over Towson and Ohio. The freshman is on a seven-game point streak, and has registered goals in six of those seven contests. All four of McIlwaine's goals this weekend came in the second half of games, and two of them via penalty stroke. On the season, she has scored eight goals and tallied 17 points - both of those marks pacing the 7-3 Colonials team.
