MAAC Offensive Player of the Week
Alex Carroll, Monmouth University
Senior, Defender, 5-2, Oceanport, N.J./Shore Regional
The senior defender registered seven points over the weekend that saw Monmouth capture two road MAAC victories. In the opening game of conference play, Carroll notched her fourth helper of the year, assisting on Trish O’Dwyer’s equalizer early in the first half. The local product had a career day at Bryant on Sunday as she registered her first career hat trick, becoming the eighth player in program history to accomplish the feat, as she increased her team-leading goal count to seven.
MAAC Defensive Player of the Week
Megan Conaboy, Quinnipiac University
Sophomore, Goalkeeper, Clarks Summit, Pa./Abington Heights HS
The sophomore goalkeeper recorded her fourth shutout of the season, backstopping the Bobcats to a 3-0 win against Robert Morris to the tune of six saves. Her numbers against the Colonials give her a 1.000 save percentage and a 0.00 goals against average. Conaboy's 9th win of the year is the 8th highest single-season total in school history.
MAAC Rookie of the Week
Nicole Hareau, Rider University
Freshman, Forward, 5-6, Montevideo, Uruguay
The leading scorer in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, Hareau had another solid week as Rider went 1-1 in conference play. After being held scoreless in Rider’s 2-1 double overtime shootout loss at Bryant, Hareau scored Rider’s second goal in a 5-1 road win at Siena. Hareau leads the MAAC with 13 goals this season.
