MAAC Offensive Player of the Week

Jamie Hartley, Robert Morris University
Junior, Midfield, 5-6, Tamworth, Australia

In Sunday's winner-take-all game against Monmouth, Hartley helped lead the Robert Morris Colonials to the program's first-ever postseason berth with two goals. The junior captain started things off 18 seconds in with a goal off a pass from Jess Martin-Brown. That goal marked the fastest the Colonials have ever opened up a game with a score. Hartley then struck again early in the second half, batting in a rebound off a shot from Julianne Alspaugh for her seventh goal of the season. The junior now has 21 points on the season and 63 career points, which is a school record. Hartley also holds the top spot in career goals with  21 and career assists with 21.

MAAC Defensive Player of the Week

Joelle Prettyman, Rider University
Sophomore, Goalkeeper, 5-6, Newark, Del./St. Mark’s

Prettyman had a stellar week in the net for Rider as the Broncs clinched a share of the MAAC regular season title.  Entering the week eighth nationally in goals against average, Prettyman made four saves in Rider’s win at Monmouth on Nov. 1, allowing only one goal and she helped the Broncs take nationally ranked Princeton to overtime on November 3 by making 17 saves in Rider’s 2-1 overtime loss to the ninth ranked Tigers.  Prettyman had a 1.44 goals against average for the week.

MAAC Rookie of the Week

Harriet Brown, Robert Morris University
Freshman, Forward, 5-6, Salisbury, United Kingdom

Harriet Brown helped the Colonials advance to their first post-season game in program history with her second goal of the season. In the 15th minute, Brown intercepted a pass and made a move to her right, catching the Monmouth goalkeeper off-balance. The freshman then lofted it over the net minder to put RMU up 2-0.
