Offensive Player of the Week

Addie Reilly, Fairfield, Jr., Attack, 5-6 Locust Valley, N.Y./Portledge

Reilly returned in dramatic fashion after missing nearly 12 months due to an ACL injury as she tallied a career-high nine points in the Stags season opening win at Monmouth.  The nine points, on five goals and four assists, is the second-best single-game effort in program history, one shy of the record. Reilly tallied her first point with a goal nearly ieght minutes into the game, and then assisted on three consecutive goals as the Stags extended a 3-1 lead to 6-1.  After Monmouth scored with 26 seconds left until intermission, Reilly answered with seven ticks left.  That started a three goal run, which carried into the second-half and extended the lead to 9-2. Reilly also had two draw controls in the victory.

Defensive Player of the Week

Katie Keenan, Fairfield, Sr., Goalkeeper, 5-7, Wantagh, N.Y./Wantagh

Keenan earned her first win of the year, and 39th of her career, as she led Fairfield to a 14-7 win at Monmouth on Saturday.  She stopped five shots in the game and picked up team-high equaling three ground balls in 53:42 of action. Four of her stops came in the first half as she held Monmouth to just two goals in the period and the Stags opened an insurmountable advantage.

Rookie of the Week

Shelby Iapoce, Fairfield, Fr., Midfielder, 5-9, Schenectady, N.Y./Guilderland

Iapoce earned the start in her collegiate debut and played well.  She finished the contest with a team-high equaling three ground balls, as well as her first collegiate caused turnover.
