Deloria, Leonard, and Croutier Claim Women's Lacrosse Weekly Awards

Offensive Player of the Week
Maggie Deloria, Siena, Sr., Attack, 5-6, Gansevoort,
N.Y./Saratoga Springs
Deloria totaled nine points on four goals and five assists
last week for the Saints. In the season opener, she dished out a career-high three
assists at Bryant. In Friday's win over Detroit, she posted career-highs of six
points and four goals and scored the game-winning goal.
Defensive Player of the Week
Morgan Leonard, Canisius, Sr., Midfielder, 5-6, Sykesville, Md./Liberty HS
The
reigning MAAC Defensive Player of the Year and 2013 MAAC Preseason Player of
the Year, Leonard had a great game on both sides of the ball against
nationally-ranked Cornell. On the defensive side, Leonard recorded a
career-best seven caused turnovers, just one shy of the school record of eight.
She also added five points, four goals and one assist on the offensive side
against the No. 16 Big Red.
Rookie of the Week
Sarah Croutier, Siena, Fr., Attack, 5-4, Rockville Centre,
N.Y./Kellenberg Memorial
Croutier had a huge first collegiate week totaling nine
points on three goals and six assists and added seven groundballs. In her
collegiate debut she scored three points on two goals and an assist at Bryant.
In Friday's win over Detroit, she tallied six points including five assists -
the second most in a game in program history.
