Lewis had a record-setting game for the Red Foxes this past Saturday in their Ramada Worldwide BracketBusters matchup versus VMI. The sophomore wing recorded career-highs in points with 30 and rebounds with 16, while tying a career-high with five steals in Marist's 112-74 win. He augmented those outstanding numbers by recording six assists, one block and shooting 70.6 percent (12-17) from the field, as well. That complete stat line of 30 points, 16 rebounds, six assists and five steals is a first in Division I competition since the 1996-97 season.
Rookie of the Week
T.J. Cline, Niagara, Fr., F, 6-8, 220, Plano, Texas/Plano West
Cline scored 17 points on 5-for-6 shooting from the field in Niagara's 92-76 win over the Northwestern State Demons in the 11th annual Ramada Worldwide BracketBusters on Saturday. He was one of five Purple Eagles to score in double figures as he registered double-digit scoring for the 12th time this season. Two of Cline's five field goals were 3-pointers for his ninth multiple 3-pointers game. He finished with three rebounds, one assist and one steal.
