Offensive Player of the Week

Tori Quinn, Canisius, So., Attack, 5-3, Orangeville, Ontario/Orangeville SS

Quinn led the Griffs to a 2-0 week, totaling 12 points on 10 goals and two assists. She opened with a career-best six points in a 21-6 victory over LIU Brooklyn, posting four goals and two assists. She then duplicated her feat in Sunday's overtime win over Duquesne, scoring six of the team's 11 goals (including the game-winning tally in the extra session) in the 11-9 win over the Dukes.

Defensive Player of the Week

Morgan Leonard, Canisius, Sr., Midfielder, 5-6, Sykesville, Md./Liberty HS

The Preseason MAAC Player of the Year, Leonard anchored the Canisius defense to a 2-0 week, totaling eight draw controls, seven caused turnovers and six ground balls. In Sunday's 11-9 overtime win, Leonard recorded a game-high five caused turnovers to lead the Griffs to the victory. She also added five points and four goals on the offensive end.

Rookie of the Week

Maeve Quinn, Fairfield, Fr., Attack, 5-1, Rockville Centre, N.Y./Sacred Heart

Quinn scored her first collegiate points and did so in dramatic fashion, by notching a hat trick in the Stags win over Quinnipiac.  She scored all three goals in a span of just under six minutes, netting two both of her free position shots on the day.  The effort made Quinn the Stags second leading scorer for the game, in just her second collegiate appearance.
