Luppens hit .579
(11-for-19) with three home runs and 13 RBI in the four-game sweep at Ohio
University. Luppens' best performance came in a 16-8 win in game three of the
series when the Wading River, N.Y. native went 3-for-5 with three home runs and
eight RBI, including a three-run homer in the top of the ninth that broke an
8-8 tie. Luppens also had the game-winning RBI in game two, with his RBI single
in the top of the eighth putting Canisius up 8-7. The 5-foot-11 junior had
multiple hits in each game and extended his hitting streak to 19 games, dating
back to last season.

Houseal tossed a complete game shutout in a seven-inning contest against
Villanova on March 17. In a 1-0 game, Houseal struck out six, and allowed just
four hits and two walks. He allowed just one Villanova baserunner to get as far
as third base in the whole game. He threw 60 of his 98 pitches for strikes, and
induced nine groundouts.

Siddall led the
Canisius offense with a .615 batting average (8-for-13) in the four-game sweep
of Ohio University. The 6-foot freshman also recorded six RBI and scored three
runs on the weekend. Siddall recorded a hit in all four games, including two
three-hit performances and going 2-for-2 in his two pinch-hit appearances.
