Liseth, Ball and Sensi Tabbed as Weekly Softball Winners

Lauren Liseth, Fairfield, Jr., C, Centralia, Wash./Centralia HS
Liseth batted .667 in the Stags only two games of the week, a sweep of the University of Connecticut. She went 2 for 3 in both ends of the doubleheader and drove home four runs over the two games. She opened with an RBI double in the top of the first inning of game one which the Stags would go on to win 4-3. Liseth followed with a three-run homer in the bottom of the first of game two to lead Fairfield to a 5-0 win. For the season, she is hitting .462 with six home runs and 25 RBI in 19 games.
MAAC Pitcher of the Week
Rae Ball, Fairfield, Jr., Pitcher, Scottsdale, Ariz./Chaparral HS
Ball tossed a six-hit shutout against the University of Connecticut, walking just one batter and striking out three hitters in picking up her third win of the season. Ball retired the side in order twice and allowed only one base runner in three of the remaining five innings of the game. She also went one for three at the plate in that game.
MAAC Rookie of the Week
Dana Sensi, Rider, Fr., 3B, 5-6, Allentown, N.J/Allentown
Sensi batted .556 in six games last week. She had 10 hits, including two doubles and a home run and had six RBI and two runs scored. Sensi had a slugging percentage of .833.
