Offensive Player of the Week
Tori Quinn, Canisius, So., Attack, 5-3, Orangeville, Ontario/Orangeville SS
Quinn once again led the Canisius offense with six points against future MAAC member Monmouth. The sophomore recorded three goals and three assists in the team's 14-9 victory against the Hawks. She also matched her career high with four draw controls in the winning effort.
Defensive Player of the Week
Christina Fiorinelli, Manhattan, So., Goalkeeper, 5-1, Massapequa, N.Y./Massapequa
Sophomore Christina Fiorinelli registered six saves for Manhattan as they defeated Delaware State 19-2 on Saturday, holding the Hornets to the second lowest point total in program history. The MAAC leader in ground balls per game also picked up three more on the day while causing one turnover. It was the second consecutive win for Fiorinelli who is averaging 9.75 saves per contest.
Rookie of the Week
Megan Yarusso, Manhattan, Fr., Midfielder, 5-2, Brewster, N.Y./Brewster
Megan Yarusso led an offensive explosion for the Jaspers as they defeated Delaware State 19-2 in their only contest this week. The freshman tallied two goals and an assist against the Hornets, leading all players with three points. Her two goals came on only three shots for the midfielder, who has registered in a point in all but two games this season. She is currently leading the team in points (13) and assists (6), while tying for third with seven goals.
