Offensive Player of the Week

Chloe Mangan, Fairfield, Sr., Midfielder, 5-10, Sayville, N.Y./St. Anthony's

Mangan contributed a quarter of the Stags offense with eight goals in the 2-0 week, that included a MAAC Tournament berth clinching win over Manhattan. She had eight draw controls, five caused turnovers and four ground balls on the week as well. Mangan equaled a career-high six goals, including the game-winner, in the win over New Hampshire, including three unanswered goals in the second-half to stymie a Wildcat run.  She had a game-high five draw controls in that Senior Day win, to go along with three ground balls.  At Manhattan, she touched net twice, to go along with three draw controls.  Mangan was 3-3 from 8-meters on the week as well.

Defensive Player of the Week

Ashley Casiano, Marist, Sr., Goalkeeper, 5-2, South Windsor, Conn./South Windsor

The senior goalkeeper came out in her final two home regular season games of the season and registered back-to-back season-high performances over Iona and Bucknell. On Wednesday versus the Gaels, she tied a season-high with four goals allowed before coming back on Saturday and making a season-best 15 saves against Bucknell. For the week, Casiano posted an 8.28 goals against average and .605 save percentage, while going 2-0.

Rookie of the Week

Lauren Smith, Siena, Fr., Midfielder, 5-6, Menands, N.Y./Shaker

Smith scored all of her career-high five goals in a 23-minute span, leading Siena to a MAAC Tournament berth with a 12-10 road win at Iona. Smith scored five of the Saints’ first six goals, helping Siena build a lead it would never relinquish. She also won three draw controls and picked up two groundballs.
