Mace scored a pair of goals and assisted on another to help lead the Pioneers to a comeback 4-3 overtime win over La Salle Friday night. Sacred Heart fell behind 2-0 early on before Mace helped set up SHU’s first goal of the night in the opening minutes of the second half. Mace set up her freshman teammate Danielle Gallagher right in front to cut the La Salle lead to 2-1 just 1:35 into the second half. The Pioneers tied it at 2-2 but fell behind again in the 51st minute before Mace would provide the game-tying goal just under two minutes later. Sitting on the left edge of the goal, Mace cleaned up an errant shot, putting it home for a 3-3 tie to force overtime.
