Wilson Offensive Player of the Week
Zach Bond, Rider

In two MAAC wins last week, Bond compiled three goals and an assist. In Rider’s 4-0 win over Saint Peter’s, Bond scored three goals. He took his own rebound off of a saved shot and scored to give Rider a 1-0 lead in the 18th minute of play. In the second half, Bond took a pass and hit the back of the net for the 3-0 lead with 32 minutes left to play and got the hat trick just two minutes later with his third goal of the game. It was the first collegiate ‘hat trick’ for Bond. In Rider’s 6-1 win over Siena, Bond had an assist on Aguinaga’s goal just over a minute into the game.
Wilson Defensive Player of the Week
Matt Turner, Fairfield
Jr., GK, 6’3, Park Ridge, N.J./St.Joseph’s
Matt Turner picked up a pair of shutouts in conference play as the Stags finished the week with a 1-0-1 mark. He posted four saves and faced 12 shots in a scoreless draw against Siena, and followed with a pair of saves in a 2-0 win against Niagara. The junior is currently owns a 0.50 goals against average which places fifth in Division I, while his .884 save percentage is fourth in the nation. He has 11 shutouts in 15 starts this season.
Wilson Rookie of the Week
Jose Aguinaga, Rider
Fr., F, 5’9, Madrid, Spain
In the Broncs two wins last week, Aguinaga compiled two goals and two assists to help defeat two MAAC opponents. On Wednesday, Aguinaga had an assist on a goal that gave Rider a 4-0 lead in their win over Saint Peter’s. In Rider’s 6-1 win over Siena, Aguinaga had two goals and an assist. He scored a goal that gave Rider a 1-0 lead just 1:24 into the game versus second place Siena. Siena had allowed just 11 goals all season prior to Aguinaga’s score.
