Wilson Offensive Player of the Week
Machel Baker, Quinnipiac
Sr., F, 5’11, Spanish Town, Jamaica/St. Jago High School
The senior forward registered two important goals for the Bobcats this week to begin league play. Against Niagara, Baker took a one touch pass at the top of the box and buried the ball into the net for his second goal of the season. He continued his offensive attack against the Golden Griffins as Quinnipiac faced a one goal deficit early in the second half before Baker jumped on a loose ball inside the box and fired a strike past the Griffins' keeper. Baker's unassisted score was his third of the year and second in as many games. He leads the Bobcats with a team high six points and now has nine career goals.

Julian Petrello, Iona

Sophomore goalkeeper Julian Petrello registered back-to-back shutouts in net for the Gaels as Iona began MAAC play with a pair of wins. Petrello began the week with one save in Iona's 1-0 win over Siena. On Sunday, Petrello recorded nine saves in the Gaels' 1-0 shutout victory at Rider. Petrello has recorded four shutouts in net for Iona this season, including each of his last three starts.
Wilson Rookie of the Week
Mark Rajovic, Marist
Fr., GK, 6-0, Katonah, N.Y./Fordham Prep
Freshamn Mark Rajovic had shutouts in both of Marist’s contests this past week, as he did not allow a goal in 200 minutes of action with a total of eight saves. Rajovic recorded six saves in a 2-0 triumph over Manhattan on Oct. 1, and had two saves in a scoreless tie at Fairfield on Oct. 4.
