Player of the Week
Ida Krogh, Siena
Sr., G/F, 6-0, Aahus, Denmark/Marselisborg Gymnasium
Krogh scored a career-high 27 points and added five rebounds and five assists in Siena’s lone game last week, an 80-68 win over Colgate. Krogh scored 20 of her 27 points in the second half including 10 over the final 4:52 to help the Saints put the game away. She shot 6-14 from the field and was clutch late at the free-throw line hitting over 81% of her shots, making 13-16 overall.
Rookie of the Week
Margot Hetzke, Siena
Fr., F, 5-11, Penfield, N.Y./Penfield
Hetzke posted her third double-double of the season with 17 points and 11 rebounds and added a career-high four steals in Siena’s lone game last week, an 80-68 win over Colgate. Hetzke scored 11 of her points in the second half and overall shot 4-7 from the field and 8-10 from the free throw line. Hetzke also tied a season-high with two blocks.
