Offensive Player of the Week
Kristen Viscount, Marist
Jr., Attack, 5-7, Smithtown, N.Y./Smithtown West High School
Viscount tallied six goals and an assist for the Red Foxes in two games as Marist split their opening week, defeating Lafayette 10-8 and falling to Vermont 20-13. Viscount scored four goals against Lafayette, scoring each shot she took on goal. Viscount also picked up one ground ball and won four draw controls against the Leopards. Viscount scored two goals and posted an assist against Vermont. She attempted four shots with three on goal. Viscount scooped up one ground ball and won two draw controls for Marist.
Defensive Player of the Week
Christina Fiorinelli, Manhattan
Jr., GK, 5-1, Massapequa, N.Y./Massapequa
Fiorinelli played well in Tuesday's season opening meeting with Rutgers. The junior goalkeeper allowed just six goals while making ten saves in the 3-6 loss. In 60 minutes of action, she registered a 62.5 save percentage. Fiorinelli also picked up two ground balls in the contest.
Rookie of the Week
Taylor Wolf, Niagara
Fr., Attack, 6-0, Biloxi, MS/Hamburg High School
Taylor Wolf scored three goals on five shots in her debut wearing the Purple and White on Saturday afternoon, when Niagara took on Robert Morris in non-conference play. Wolf scored her first career goal with 10:58 to play in the first half, and added another two in the second frame.
