MAAC Offensive Player of the Week
Richie Hurley, Siena College
R-Jr., A, 6-1, 184, Setauket, N.Y./Ward Melville
Hurley tallied a game-high six points and scored a season-high five goals as the Saints clinched the MAAC Regular Season Championship for the sixth time in the past eight years with an 18-12 win at Quinnipiac Saturday. Hurley scored four of his five goals during a remarkable 10-goal run which rallied the Saints from a four-goal deficit to take a six-goal lead. Following another huge performance, the Saints’ red-shirt junior captain now ranks fourth nationally in points per game (4.92) and fifth in assists per game (2.92).
MAAC Defensive Player of the Week
Sean McMahon, Manhattan College
Sr., M, 5-9, 170, New Milford, Conn./New Milford
McMahon had a game-high six ground balls as well as two caused turnovers in the Jaspers 6-5 victory over the Detroit Titans on Saturday afternoon. The senior was also a vital part of Manhattan's clearing effort throughout the contest. McMahon ranks among the top three in the MAAC in ground balls, with 85 on the season.
MAAC Rookie of the Week
Chris Daly, Monmouth University
Fr., A, 6-2, 180, Wynnewood, Pa./Lower Merion H.S.
Daly posted a career-high four goals and six points in Monmouth's 12-9 loss to Marist on Saturday. Daly, who now leads the Hawks with 14 goals and 22 points, scored a season-high four goals and added two assists for Monmouth. He scored four goals on seven shots, and collected three groundballs and a caused turnover.
