Player of the Week
Kayleena Flores - Monmouth
Jr., 2B, Atwater, Calif./Buhach Colony
The MAAC Softball Player of the Week is Kayleena Flores. Flores hit .500 (8-for-16) with three doubles, two triples, eight RBI and five runs scored in the Hawks 4-2 week. She began the week with a 2-for-2 effort with a double, a triple, a sacrifice fly, three RBI and a run scored in Game 1 against Marist on Thursday. Flores drove in the Hawks’ first three runs of the game on a sacrifice fly and a two-run double, before scoring the go-ahead run after tripling to lead off the sixth. Flores then doubled in a 1-for-2 effort in Game 2 against Marist. On the day against Saint Peter’s on Saturday, Flores went 2-for-5 with three runs scored and an RBI as the Hawks swept the Hourglass Rivalry DH. Included in the effort was an infield single that drove in the game-winning run in the bottom of the sixth. Flores wrapped up the productive week with three hits, including a bases-clearing triple, and four RBI at Quinnipiac. For the week, she posted a .550 on-base percentage and a .938 slugging percentage.
Pitcher of the Week
Rae Ball - Fairfield

The MAAC Softball Pitcher of the Week is Rae Ball. Ball collected two wins and a save while compiling a 0.95 ERA in a 4-1 week for Fairfield. The senior earned complete game victories over Marist and Iona to pick up her 10th and 11th wins of the season. In between those two victories, Ball secured the final two outs against Rhode Island to save a 2-1 win for the Stags. Against Marist, she fanned four hitters and scattered six hits. She came back with five strikeouts and yielded seven hits in a 2-0 shutout over the Gaels. For the season, Ball owns an 11-6 record with a 2.92 ERA.
Rookie of the Week
Sydney Underhill - Monmouth
Fr., P, Temecula, Calif./Chaparral
The MAAC Softball Rookie of the Week is Sydney Underhill. Underhill earned all four wins in the circle for the Hawks last week, posting a 3.39 ERA, with 26 strikeouts in 33 innings pitched. She began the week with a season-high 13 strikeouts in a victory over Marist on Thursday. She struck out 16 Red Foxes on the day, including three more in 2.1 innings of relief in Game 2. Underhill then hurled a complete-game, six-hit shutout in Game 1 against Saint Peter’s, striking out four, and picked up another win against the Peacocks in Game 2. Underhill moved to 4-0 on the week with 3.1 innings of two-hit ball at Quinnipiac. Her lone loss of the week came in a come-from-behind effort by Quinnipiac in Sunday’s Game 2.
