Wilson Offensive Player of the Week
Christian Flath, Rider

In two games last week, the sophomore forward scored three goals and added one assist for seven points.Flath put away two goals against LIU Brooklyn on Wednesday night and continued his offensive attack with an assist on Sonimi Halliday’s goal in the Broncs’ 5-2 win on the road. Flath continued his scoring over the weekend when he scored on a penalty kick to give Rider a 2-0 lead in 3-0 win over Bryant.
Wilson Defensive Player of the Week
Josh Weiss, Siena
Fr., GK, 5-10, Hicksville, N.Y./St. Anthony’s
Weiss posted a 2-1 record with a 0.94 goals against average, .850 save percentage and 17 saves last week for the Saints. He made three saves in Tuesday’s 5-1 win over Sacred Heart and added a pair of saves in Friday’s narrow 1-0 loss at an Oregon State squad which was receiving Top-25 votes. Sunday, Weiss made a season-high 12 saves including three in overtime in a 2-1 double overtime win over a Portland team that was also receiving Top-25 votes. For his efforts over the weekend, Weiss was named to the Henson/Zaher Nike Classic All-Tournament Team.
Wilson Rookie of the Week
Joel Gerberich, Niagara
Fr., GK, 6-3, Akron, Ohio/Revere
The freshman keeper collected a pair of wins over the weekend, including a 1-0 shutout on Sunday that brought the Purple Eagles back to .500 on the season. He opened with a three-save performance through 90 minutes of a 2-1 victory over Buffalo with the lone goal coming on a penalty kick. He followed up with a six-save second half against St. Bonaventure to allow his squad to come away with a 1-0 win in overtime for his first collegiate shutout. In total he played over 182 minutes and made nine saves to collect a .900 save percentage and a 0.49 goals against average.
