Wilson Offensive Player of the Week
Ignacio Maganto, Iona
Sr., F, 5’7, Madrid, Spain/Nuestra Senora del Pilar
Senior midfielder Ignacio Maganto registered four points for the Gaels in non-conference action this week. Maganto scored a goal in each of Iona's two contests as the Maroon & Gold went 1-0-1. Against Fairleigh Dickinson, Maganto scored what turned out to be the game-winner in the 2-0 Iona win. In the 26th minute, Maganto converted on a penalty kick to give the Gaels a 1-0 lead. Later in the week against Connecticut, Maganto scored his fourth goal of the season in the 51st minute to help Iona to a 1-1 draw of the Huskies.

Eric Klenofsky, Monmouth
So., GK, 6-6, Lincoln Park, N.J/DePaul Catholic
Sophomore goalkeeper Eric Klenofsky posted a shutout in the Hawks’ first-ever win over Rutgers on Tuesday, collecting five saves. He then made six saves in a 1-1 tie at Villanova. Klenofsky now has three shutouts on the season, while posting a 0.63 goals against average and a .857 save percentage.
Wilson Rookie of the Week
Florian Valot, Rider
Jr., M/F, 5-9, Monaco, France
In his first season of competition in the United States, junior midfielder Florian Valot recorded 2 goals in Rider’s 5-0 win over St. Bonaventure. In the 8th minute of play Valot took a shot to the back of the net to give Rider a 1-0 lead. He found the back of the net once more to score the final goal of the game for Rider.
