Offensive Player of the Week
Danielle Allan, Quinnipiac
Sr., F, 5-1, Riverdale, N.J./Pompton Lakes
Quinnipiac’s Danielle Allan had a big week including two goals and one assist as the Bobcats' senior forward impacted three of the five goals scored for Quinnipiac. Allan’s five points against the Hofstra Pride are the most for any Quinnipiac player in a game this season and also the most scored by a Bobcat since Sept. 26, 2013 when Allan posted seven points against Holy Cross. With the two goals this week, Allan's 26 career goals and 68 total points moves her to fourth place in each category on Quinnipiac’s all-time list.
Defensive Player of the Week
Hannah Isaacs, Rider
Fr., GK, 5-4, Piscataway, N.J./Piscataway
Freshman goalkeeper Hannah Isaacs came in relief to play the majority of the second half in Rider’s loss at Drexel, logging 33 minutes and allowing only one goal while making three saves. Isaacs started the game in goal against Villanova playing all 70 minutes, making six saves and allowing only one goal in Rider’s 3-1 victory over the Wildcats on September 28. For the week, Isaacs had a goals against average of 1.36.
Rookie of the Week
Lauren Lawson, Sacred Heart
Fr., F/M, 5-4, Ariss, Ontario/St.John’s-Kilmarnock School
Freshman Lauren Lawson scored her second game-winning goal of the season on Saturday afternoon to help Sacred Heart defeat Lock Haven for the first time in school history, 2-1. Four minutes after Lock Haven had equalized the game, Lawson was able to get her stick on a rebound and knock it in to put the Pioneers ahead 2-1 in the 29th minute. Both of Lawson’s two goals on the year have been game-winners.
