Murphy, Graesser, Quarantillo and Tobias with Weekly Awards

EDISON, N.J. – The MAAC Men’s Swimmer of the Week is Marist College’s Ryan Murphy. Hannah Graesser of Canisius College is the MAAC Women’s Swimmer of the Week. Another Golden Griffin Eddie Quarantillo is the MAAC Men’s Diver of the Week, while Marist College’s Kimberly Tobias is the MAAC Women’s Diver of the Week.
The MAAC Men’s Swimmer of the Week is Marist College Sophomore Ryan Murphy. Murphy was Marist’s top freestyle performer in its dual meet at Boston College on January 17th. He finished first in the 500 yard freestyle with a time of 4:45.77. Murphy also took the top spot in the 1,000 yard freestyle finishing a hair over ten minutes with a score a final time of 10:00.16.
Hannah Graesser, a sophomore from Canisius College is the MAAC Women’s Swimmer of the week. Graesser was part of the winning 200 yard medley relay team and also won multiple individual events. She took first place in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 25.15. Grayser also finished first in the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 53.81.
The MAAC Men’s Diver of the Week is senior Eddie Quarantillo from Canisius College. Quarantillo closed out his final regular season meet in the blue and gold uniform with a win over MAAC rival Niagara. He won the one meter dive with a score of 279.53. Quarantillo also finished first in the three meter dive with a score of 285.15.
Marist College senior Kimberly Tobias is the MAAC Women’s Diver of the Week. She won the one meter dive after scoring 252.52 points. Tobias came in second place in the three meter dive racking up 256.95 points.
