Coles averaged 19.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 3.5 steals, shot 52.4% from the field, 41.7% from three and sank all 11 of her free throw attempts in a perfect 2-0 week for the Saints. On Saturday she became the 26th player in program history to score 1,000 career points, finishing with a game-high tying 18 points, five rebounds and four assists in the Saints’ win over Manhattan. Coles, who has led the MAAC in steals each of the past three years, once again quarterbacked a Siena defense which allowed just 51.5 points on 35.6% shooting for the week. This is Coles’ second weekly award this season.

Rookie of the Week

Hetzke averaged a double-double with 13.0 points and 10.0 rebounds to go along with 2.0 blocks in a perfect 2-0 week for the Saints. On Thursday, she scored the game-winning basket with 9.4 seconds to go as the Saints pulled out a key 54-52 road win at Monmouth. Hetzke finished with eight points, 10 rebounds and two blocks on the night. On her 19th birthday Saturday, she celebrated by scoring a game-high tying 18 points and added 10 rebounds for her fourth double-double of the season in the Saints’ win over Manhattan. Hetzke again was clutch late, scoring six of her points during a late 8-0 run that put the Saints up double digits and put the game out of reach. This is Hetzke’s seventh weekly award this season.
