Brett Bisping, Siena

Bisping averaged 18 points and 12 rebounds while shooting 52% from the field and 100% from the foul line in two huge non-conference home wins for the Saints. He scored a game-high 22 points and grabbed nine rebounds in the Saints’ convincing 81-68 victory over CAA favorite Hofstra. Bisping made 7-15 field goals and all six of his free throws against the Pride. He finished the week with a monster double-double in Siena’s 78-70 Albany Cup triumph over crosstown rival and three-time defending America East Champion UAlbany. Bisping scored 14 points and hauled in a game-high 15 rebounds in the win. It was the third time he’s had 15 or more rebounds in a game this season. Bisping made 6-10 shots and had two of the Saints’ 13 blocked shots, which were just one off a school record set over 27 years ago. Bisping leads the MAAC with 9.2 rebounds per game.

Nico Clareth, Siena

Clareth was a huge factor in two impressive non-league home wins for Siena this week, averaging 12 points and four rebounds while shooting 47% from the field. Clareth scored 10 points and grabbed five rebounds in Siena’s 81-68 victory over Hofstra. He finished the week with 14 points, three rebounds and two blocks as the Saints claimed the Albany Cup with an inspired 78-70 victory over crowsstown rival and three-time defending America East champion UAlbany. Clareth made 3-4 three-point tries against the Great Danes and scored 10 of his 14 points in the second half, helping Siena pull away in the final eight minutes for their MAAC-best seventh victory.
