Schultz, Henry and Neary Earn Water Polo Weekly Awards

EDISON, N.J. – Skyler Henry of Marist College, Hannah Schultz and Paige Neary of Iona College are named the MAAC Water Polo Weekly Award Winners of the Week.
Freshman Hannah Schultz scored 17 goals in five contests for the Gaels in non-conference action. Schultz opened the weekend with two goals and drew a kickout against Gannon. Schultz then scored five goals in a 15-14 win over George Washington. She then added six goals and drew five kickouts in a nine-goal win over Mercyhurst. Schultz tallied three goals and drew two ejections in a win over Washington and Jefferson. Schultz ended the weekend with one goal against No. 19 Hartwick.
Skyler Henry had a dominant performance in a 10-3 Marist win over No. 20 Hartwick. Henry made 18 saves with a .833 save percentage, while giving up just three goals against and one steal.
Freshman Paige Neary scored nine goals over five games for the Gaels in non-conference play. Neary tallied a goal and added an assist and two kickouts drawn in a ten goal win over Gannon. Neary scored a goal and added two ejections drawn and a steal in a win over George Washington later in the day. The following day, Neary scored two goals in a win over Mercyhurst and scored three more times and drew three kickouts in a win over Washington & Jefferson in the team's final game at the Villanova Invitational. Neary then scored two goals against No. 19 Hartwick.
The 2015 MAAC Water Polo Championship will be held on April 25-26 at McCann Natatorium in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.
