EDISON, N.J. – The MAAC Men’s Swimmer of the Week is Marist College senior Jason Ruddy. Elizabeth Kaczmarek a freshman from Iona College is the MAAC Women’s Swimmer of the Week. Josh Dodway a junior from Marist College is the MAAC Men’s Diver of the week. The MAAC Women’s Diver of the Week is Hailey Beers a Siena College junior.

Jason Ruddy a Marist college senior is the MAAC Men’s Swimmer of the Week. Ruddy took first place in three events during Marist’s 169-125 victory against Binghamton on January 31st in McCann Natatorium. In the butterfly events, he swam 100 yards in 52.73 seconds and 200 yards in 1:56.60 for a pair of wins. He swam the fastest dual meet time in program history in the 200-yard individual medley, clocking in at 1:54.71. Ruddy was also on the first-place 200-yard medley relay team, which finished with a time of 1:36.13, alongside two of his senior classmates.  

Iona College freshman Elizabeth Kaczmarek is the MAAC Women’s Swimmer of the Week. Iona freshman Elizabeth Kaczmarek clammed three first place finishes in the 200 freestyle, 100 freestyle, and 200 individual medley in the team's victory over conference rival Fairfield. Kaczmarek touched the wall with a time of 1:58.44 in the 200IM freestyle before claiming the 100m freestyle with a time of 54.74 and the 200m individual relay with a time of 2:12.58.

Marist College junior Josh Dodway is the MAAC Men’s Diver of the Week. Dodway placed second on the 1- and 3-meter boards in Marist’s 169-125 win over Binghamton on January 31st. His higher total of 301.12 points came in the 3-meter event. He racked up 276.97 points at one meter.

Hailey Beers a junior from Siena College is the MAAC Women’s Diver of the Week. In the Saint’s dual meet against Sacred Heart Beers scored a 272 in the 1 meter dives which broke Siena’s 12-year-old school record as well as the 14-year-old Siena Swim Center record. She followed that up six events later by scoring a 271.15 in the 3 meter, breaking another Siena Swim Center record.
