Offensive Player of the Week
Joseph Radin, Marist
Jr., Attack, 6-1, Long Beach, N.Y./Long Beach
Radin tied his career-high by netting six goals against Penn State on March 10. He scored all of his goals consecutively, the final one coming on a man up opportunity. He scored two goals on five shots on goal in the Red Foxes’ 10-3 win over Monmouth on March 14. In the two Marist games, Radin tallied eight goals on 23 shots, with 13 of them coming on goal, and one caused turnover.
Defensive Player of the Week
Dave Scarcello, Marist
Sr., Goalie, 5-11, Buffalo, N.Y./Bishop Timon St.Jude
Scarcello made a combined 17 saves for a .586 save percentage in Marist’s contests against Penn State and Monmouth this week. In a 10-3 win against Monmouth on March 14 he allowed a career-low three goals, holding the Hawks scoreless for the first 49:18 of the game. He also scooped up four ground balls and caused a turnover in the Red Foxes’ first MAAC contest of the season.
Rookie of the Week
Mark Anstead, Detroit
Fr., Attack, 5-11, Potomac, Md./Gonzaga
Anstead posted a goal and an assist in the Titans close 9-6 setback at Air Force. He continues to lead the team with 22 points and 10 assists on the year for Detroit.
