Offensive Player of the Week

Erin Pugh, Iona 

So., Midfield, 5-10, Wantagh, N.Y./Wantagh

Sophomore Erin Pugh scored eight goals over two games for Iona, along with five grounds balls, eight draw controls and four forced turnovers.  Pugh opened the week with four goals, two ground balls and two draw controls against Temple.  Two days later, she scored four times, corralled six draw controls and scooped up three ground balls in a 16-12 win over St. Bonaventure.  Pugh now has 19 goals over the first six games for the Maroon & Gold.

Defensive Player of the Week

Blaire Nathanson, Iona

Sr., GK, 5-10, South Brunswick, NJ / South Brunswick

Senior Blaire Nathanson recorded 29 saves (14.5 per game) over two contests for the Gaels, to go along with a .569 save percentage. Nathanson opened the week with a career-high 17 stops at home against Temple, before recording 12 saves in a four-goal win over St. Bonaventure.

Rookie of the Week

Emma Hager, Iona 

Fr., Midfield, 6-0, Carlisle, Pa./Cumberland Valley

Freshman Emma Hager scored three goals and grabbed eight controls, all in the second half, of a 16-12 victory over St. Bonaventure in the second game of the week for the Gaels. Hager has eight goals and 17 draw controls overall this season.
