The MAAC Announces the 2015 Women's Tennis All-Academic Teams

EDISON, N.J. - The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced today that a total of 25 athletes comprise the 2014-15 MAAC Women’s Tennis All-Academic Team. To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale. Quinnipiac University led all schools with 6 members named to the team, followed by Marist College with 5 members. Niagara University had 4 student-athletes, while Fairfield University and Monmouth University added 3 members each. Siena College followed with 2 athletes named to the team, while Manhattan College and Saint Peter’s University had one student-athlete each.
The 2015 MAAC Tennis Championships will be held on April 25 and 26 at the Mercer County Park Tennis Center in West Windsor, N.J.
