MAAC Announces 2016 Men's Swimming & Diving All-Academic Team

EDISON, N.J. - A total of 47 student-athletes comprise the 2016 Men’s Swimming & Diving All-Academic Team, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced today.

To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.  Rider University led all schools with 10 student-athletes.  Canisius College came in second with 9 student-athletes, while Fairfield University added 7 student-athletes. Iona College followed with 6 student-athletes and Bryant University and Manhattan College each added 4 student-athletes. Rounding out the list was Monmouth University and Niagara University with 3 student-athletes each and Marist College with 2 student-athletes.
