Offensive Player of the Week

Connor Kearnan , Canisius

So., Attack, 5-8, Courtice, Ontario/Saint Joseph’s Univ.

Connor Kearnan once again led the Canisius attack, totaling nine points, five goals and four assists in a pair of games for the Griffs. In a Tuesday non-conference contest, Kearnan matched career highs with five points, three goals and two assists – contributing to five of the team’s seven scores. He then led Canisius with four points on two goals and two assists in Saturday’s 12-9 victory at Siena, helping the Griffs to their first win against the Saints in Loudonville since 2005. Kearnan, who leads the Griffs with 15 points in four games, has recorded at least four points in three-straight contests – a first for a Canisius player since 2013.

Defensive Player of the Week

Jason Weber, Detroit

Jr., GK, 6-0, Whitby, Ontario/Christ School (NC)

Weber helped keep Manhattan’s offense at bay on the road allowing a program record low three goals and picking up the win in net registering nine saves. He also had a ground ball and never allowed more than one goal in any period.

Rookie of the Week

Eamon Campbell, Monmouth

Fr., Attack, 6-2, Massapequa, NY/St. Anthony’s

Eamon Campbell extended his goal streak to four games after finding the back of the net in Monmouth’s games at VMI and in the league opener against Marist.  In the Hawks’ 17-5 road win over VMI, the rookie scored and added an assist.  On Saturday against the Red Foxes, Campbell recorded six shots, four of which reached target, and finished with a team-high and season-best three points on two goals and an assist.  The freshman, who now has two multi-goal games to his credit, also collected a ground ball in each game.
