Hughes hit .476 in a 3-win week for Monmouth, including a win over #17 East Carolina, the second win over a ranked team this year. He drove in nine runs and had 10 hits, scoring six runs. He added five extra base hits, one in every game, including a home run at JMU. He posted a slugging percentage of .810 and played a perfect first base.

Dennis took a perfect game into the 7th and a no-hitter into the 8th against 17th-ranked East Carolina Sunday, eventually tossing eight-one hit shutout innings to earn his second win of the year against a ranked team. He struck out six and walked just one in the win.
Rookie of the Week
Tim Zeng, Fairfield

Freshman Tim Zeng had his best week of his collegiate career as he hit .438 in his four games including a .538 average in the three-game series against Delaware. He began the series with the Blue Hens with his first four-hit game as he went 4-for-5 with a double and stolen base. In the final game of the series, Zeng also recorded two hits and scored two runs in his 2-for-4 showing. Zeng scored a run in each game of the week and had a .526 on base percentage.
