Tanner Kirwer was instrumental in Niagara’s three-game sweep of Saint Peter’s over the weekend. Kirwer went 10-for-14 at the plate and had seven total runs. He led the team in RBIs with 12 and went 3-for-4 in stolen bases. In game one, Kirwer helped Niagara to a 21-2 victory with one homerun, four runs scored and five RBIs. Kirwer finished the weekend batting .714. He had a .750 on-base percentage, a 1.286 slugging percentage and a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage.

Zachary Kolodziejski, Niagara

Zachary Kolodziejski earned his first win of the season in an 11-0 victory over Saint Peter’s on Sunday. Kolodziejski pitched 8.0 innings, the most innings a Niagara pitcher has completed in a single game so far this season. Kolodziejski struck out eight batters and the Peacocks only had four hits against him and zero runs. Kolodziejski completed the game with a perfect 0.00 ERA.

Kosciolek started one game last week for the Broncs and pitched 7 scoreless innings in victory over La Salle in first round of Liberty Bell Classic. He allowed just one unearned run and struck out 9 batters. In his last 2 starts, he has thrown 14 innings, allowing one earned run, 14 strikeouts, and three walks in Rider victories over Rutgers and La Salle.
