Offensive Player of the Week

Chris Daly, Monmouth

Jr., A, 6-2, Wynnewood, PA/Lower Merion

Chris Daly had a hat trick and contributed an assist in Monmouth’s 14-13 overtime win at Siena. The junior helped the Hawks remain unbeaten on the road (6-0) this season and was part of Monmouth’s first-ever overtime victory. Daly and the Hawks trailed 4-0 early and 5-2 after the first quarter, before he was credited with all three goals during Monmouth’s 8-2 second quarter outburst that gave it a 10-7 lead at halftime. Daly then assisted Hunter Jones’ goal with 1:19 to play in regulation to send the game to overtime. Daly extended point streak to six games and posted his third four-point game of the year. Daly leads Monmouth with 25 goals and 32 points this season.

Defensive Player of the Week

Brian Corrigan, Marist

R-So., GK, 5-10, East Quogue, NY/ Westhampton Beach

Corrigan allowed a career low two goals to help Marist lock up the no. 2 seed in the MAAC Tournament with a 14-3 win at Detroit on April 30. His 16 saves in just under 57 minutes of work were two short of a career high. Corrigan had a 2.11 goals against average and racked up an .889 save percentage on 32 shots faced from the Titans. He also led the Red Foxes’ defense with a career-high three caused turnovers alongside three ground balls.   

Rookie of the Week

Eamon Campbell, Monmouth

Fr., Attack, 6-2, Massapequa, NY/St. Anthony’s

Eamon Campbell scored a goal and registered the first three-assist game of his career in Monmouth’s 14-13 overtime win at Siena. The rookie helped the Hawks remain unbeaten on the road (6-0) this season and was part of Monmouth’s first-ever overtime victory. Campbell and the Hawks trailed 4-0 early and 5-2 after the first quarter, before he was credited with three assists during Monmouth’s 8-2 second quarter outburst that gave it a 10-7 lead at halftime. Campbell scored his goal early in the fourth quarter and briefly gave MU a 12-11 lead. Campbell extended point streak to 10 games, which is the longest streak on the team, and equaled his career high of four points. Campbell leads the team with nine assists, is second in points (24) and third in goals (15) this season.
