15 MAAC Teams Named As 2016 USTFCCCA All-Academic Teams

There were 122 men’s teams and 220 women’s teams that were named All-Academic by the Association.
Marist's men were ranked fifth in team grade point average out of the 122 Division I teams honored by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
When it comes to the women’s teams, the highest cumulative GPA belonged to San Francisco (3.68). Following close behind USF was Portland at 3.671, Lipscomb at 3.67, Butler at 3.642 with Iowa State and Loyola Marymount tied at 3.64 apiece.
Over in the men’s list, Butler had to best GPA at 3.49. Coming in second was New Mexico at 3.46, third was Idaho State at 3.45, fourth was Yale at 3.43 and Marist College rounded out the top-5 at 3.417.
