LAS VEGAS, NV - Former Iona College men's basketball teammates David Laury '15 and A.J. English '16 reunite in the 2016 NBA Summer League representing the Golden State Warriors at the Thomas and MAAC center this upcoming weekend. Laury and English are two of 16 players announced by the NBA Western Conference Champions to appear in the Las Vegas portion of their schedule.

A day after draft night, English accepted an invitation compete with the Warriors on their Las Vegas NBA Summer League squad. Laury did the same after playing with the Delaware 87ers in 2015-16, the Philadelphia 76ers NBA D-League affiliate.

The Warriors are scheduled to play at least three games from July 9-12 before the Summer League Tournament commences from July 13-18. Golden State takes on San Antonio Spurs this Saturday (Jul. 9) at 10:30 pm ET on the Thomas & Mack Center on the campus of UNLV in a game that will be televised live on ESPN2.
