Senior guard Matt Scott led the Purple Eagles with 27 points per game, 4.0 assists per game and 2.0 steals per game while also averaging 9.0 rebounds per game as Niagara went split a pair of games last week. In Niagara’s win over Army on Nov. 27, Scott led all scorers with 25 points while grabbing 10 rebounds for his second double-double of the season. He also had a team-best six assists for a season-high. Against local rival Buffalo on Nov. 29, Scott scored a team-high 29 points for his sixth consecutive 20-point game and 28th in his career. He also chipped in eight rebounds.
Rookie of the Week
Jordan Allen, Rider

Allen had another strong week, averaging 19.0 points, hitting 46.7 percent (7-15) from long range and making all seven of his free-throw attempts. He began the week with a season-high 28 points on 9-20 from the floor, including 5-of-10 from long range in a near-upset at Providence. He then added 10 points at Drexel on Saturday. He's now scored in double-digits in all eight games so far this year, is averaging 18.1 points and shooting 46.8 percent (29-62) from long range and 91.7 percent (22-24) from the free-throw line.
