LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. – Siena Basketball red-shirt senior forward Brett Bisping has added another major achievement to an already highly decorated career. The Peoria, Illinois native has been named to the College Basketball Invitational All-Time Team.

Bisping was joined on the All-Time CBI Team by Kenneth Faried (Morehead State), Doug McDermott (Creighton), Larry Nance, Jr. (Wyoming), and Andrew Nicholson (St. Bonaventure). The College Basketball Invitational All-Time Team was created in conjunction with the celebration of the CBI’s 10thAnniversary. The team was selected by a fan vote from an official ballot of 24 candidates.

Bisping was named the 2014 College Basketball Invitational Most Valuable Player after leading Siena to the first national postseason tournament title in school history. He also helped guide the Saints to a CBI appearance in 2016, and averaged 15.6 points and 7.3 rebounds in seven career tournament games.

Bisping averaged 16.2 points and 7.5 rebounds in six games in the 2014 CBI, which included three, 20-point performances and double-doubles vs. Penn State and Illinois State. He poured in 20 points and added nine rebounds in Siena’s decisive championship game win over Fresno State.

Bisping recently completed one of the most successful careers in Siena Basketball history, and is set to graduate as the only player in program history to eclipse both 1,500 points and 1,000 rebounds. He departs ranking 11th all-time in program history in scoring (1,528), and fourth in rebounding (1,024).

Bisping was named a Second Team All-MAAC, MAAC All-Tournament and NABC District I Second Team selection this season. He averaged 12.3 points, posted 13 double-doubles, and led the MAAC in rebounding for the second straight season with 9.7 caroms, which currently ranks 24th nationally entering Final Four weekend.
