MAAC Announces 2017 Water Polo All-Academic Team

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY - A total of 53 student-athletes comprise the 2017 MAAC Water Polo All-Academic Team, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced today.
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale. Wagner College led all schools with 11 student-athletes, while Marist College had 10 student-athletes. Iona College added nine All-Academic Team members. St. Francis Brooklyn and Villanova University both have eight student athletes. Siena College comes in with four student athletes and Virginia Military Institute rounds out the list with three members.
